Maggie Hill is a prominent executive in the health care industry. Her distinguished career is nothing short of impressive. Maggie’s reputation significantly touches on her service to the Memorial University Medical Center and Memorial Health.

Education Background

Aside from being an incredible force to reckon with when it comes to business leadership, Maggie has proven to be academically gifted. She is an acclaimed alumnus of the Florida State University where she received her bachelor’s degree with honors. She is also graduated from the Saint Leo University situated in Florida whereby she earned her MBA. Additionally, Maggie Hill completed her course work in strategic thinking and management at the Wharton School.


Before Maggie Gill joined the Memorial University Medical Center, she spent about five years of her career serving as the chief financial officer at Tenet South Florida Health system. During her tenure at Tenet, she was awarded the Tenet Outstanding CFO award thrice. This honor is a testament to her ability to deliver as a professional. While still working as CFO she served Coral Gables Hospital situated in Coral Gables, North Shore Medical Center based in Miami and Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah.

After leaving Tenet, Maggie became part of the Memorial University Medical Center in 2004 where she served as the VP of finance/ managed care. It did not take her long to ascend the corporate ladder, as she was made COO in 2005. Later in 2011, Maggie was named the chief executive officer and president of Memorial Health.

Partnership with Eon Health

Maggie Hill is also acknowledged for facilitating the partnership between Memorial University Medical Center and Eon Health. The partnership involved the formulation of a plan that includes pharmacy benefits and zero-dollar premiums with reduced co-pays. Maggie Gill cited that both companies would collaborate to make sure that their patients not only access the desired level of care but also live healthy lifestyles.


Late last year, Maggie Hill was one of the 135 health system and nonprofit hospital CEOs acknowledged by Becker’s Hospital Review. All individuals named on the list were selected based on discretion and editorial judgment.
